I'm David Michael Horine.

Welcome to my photo website and thanks for visiting. Take a look around, feel free to comment, "like" and "share," and be sure to come back often, as I’m posting new photo images all the time!

Like many enthusiastic photographers, I’ve been making photo images since childhood. As an adult, my camera has accompanied me on 50+ years of hiking, climbing and skiing adventures in the mountains and deserts of the West, with more than 20 of those years as an outdoor educator and Executive Director of the California based Pacific Wilderness Institute. In 2005, I moved to the “Land of Enchantment,” and I've been exploring it's places, peoples and unique cultures ever since.

For me, making photo images has always been a passionate activity, and sometimes a great excuse for taking a ramble. Always, the world remains to me the same—a sublimely beautiful, quirky, surprising and occasionally exasperating place. I never get tired of looking and I never get tired of seeing New Mexico and the Southwest through my camera’s viewfinder. As you view my photography, I hope you enjoy what I see!

If you're interested in enhancing your own New Mexico photographic experience, I also invite you to visit my photo travel blog at www.davidhorine.com.
